Norm—Projects is a multidisciplinary design agency based in Cologne. Our expertise lies in technical industrial design and the systematic development of product innovations, the development and design of websites and apps, graphic design, as well as the manufacturing of a wide variety of products and textiles. We are a young team that rethinks the structures of agencies and interprets them for itself. In close cooperation with our clients, we research and develop new innovation concepts on the basis of different strategies and implement them up to series production. We achieve these goals together with our customers through workshops and regular presentations and strive for a long—term and sustainable cooperation. Our goal is to give products and digital developments on the market legitimacy through innovation and design added value. Future technologies and sustainability are just as important to us for a successful product.
In addition to our agency, we work continuously on our own products. The „MJ—1“ project is probably our most important project, in which we incorporate all our expertise. Through our experience in product and textile design, we develop new solutions for the intelligent and sustainable integration of electronics in textiles. Together with experienced institutes we work on a product development ready for series production. We are convinced that electronics will become more and more important in textiles in the future. Concepts that enable users to be introduced to the topic of „Smart Textiles“ with the aim of recognising potential and acceptance through ease of use are essential for the success of these and future products. We have recognised this problem and are proud to present our solution to the public for the first time at the ISPO 2019 trade fair in Munich.
